Brought the car into the dealer asking for them to vertically raise the HUD.... thought I would meet some resistance, but they did it with no problem.... they raised it about 2 inches.....

Good to have demonstrated proof that this is a verified non-issue.

That had been an early worry of mine. Back in Feb 04 I test drove a 5er with HUD. I could not get high enough to make it all appear in view (bottom cut off). I asked the Sales and service folks of there was an adjustment. Both claimed it could not be adjusted.

Later in the year and before I ordered my 6er, Rudy posted the PDF on the HUD features including the illustrated ability to make adjustments. Based on that I had no concerns waiting until HUD was available on 6er and placing order. When mine arrived it was already perfect for me for almost the whole range of seat heights, high to low.

Thanks for sharing the news.

Yep, Rudy helped me last year when my HUD was crooked/angled when I looked at it. They made the adjustment twice, since the first time it was over-adjusted and then corrected.

I have noticed however that if I sit up high or lower, the angle of the HUD in the glass changes quite alot. So now when I want to adjust the angle, I just sit up our slouch down.

Has anyone else with HUD seen that too?
