This thread from yesterday, called "HUD pics" should help you out...

Is HUD only visible from the inside of the car or is it also visible from the outside?

HUD is a must. I would recommend it to everyone. I had some work done on my ride yesterday, and my rental was an infiniti G35. I kept looking at the windshield for my speed. By the way, what a POS.

Thanks Rudy,

I missed the link to Iceman's nighttime pics in yesterdays thread.

Do you know if the HUD is visible from the passenger seat?

Regards

You can ONLY see HUD when you are directly in front of it.
cheers

As far as I know, the image is only visible from the inside. It might be possible to see it from some bizarre angle but I've never been able to see it under normal circumstances...

Another option I'm glad I didn't get. I've been driving with polarized sunglasses for five years and so this would have been wasted money...

Everyone is saying it's a great option but you're happy you didn't get it because of your sunglasses ... Mmmmm... they must be really nice sunglasses
