HPFP: What year did they finally fixed it

My Ride: White/Tan, Nav, comfort seats, sport steering wheels, sport suspension, active steering, rear window shades, rear shade, heated seats
Model Year: '07-530i
Friend is looking for a LCI 535xi and would like to know what year did they finally fixed the HPFP crap ? Also is it easy to find an '08/09 530xi with sport and manual shift ?

530xi won't have hpfp problems...it's the N54 engine that comes int he 535i/xi that will possibly have hpfp issues..
also: I'm pretty sure any 08/09 US models will only be 535i as that replaced the 530 in production beginning MY2008...
if you meant 2008/2008 535i/xi...not usre if there is a final fix for it, but there was a recent campaign to change the hpfp for all n54 engines...not too mention the extended 10yrs/120K miles factory warranty now...

I am also aware of the warranty but really won't have any time to go back and forth to the dealer for the same recurring issue.
