Hi
I´m new here on this forum. I hope there is someone who can help me here. I have a howling sound/noise and it sounds like it´s coming from inside the dashboard. First i thought it was the air conditioning compressor, so that was replaced. But the sound is still there. Now i have a suspection that it might be the blower motor. But does the blower follow the RPM on the engine. The sound follows the RPM and is most loud at 1200-2500 RPM. The sound does not change when i turn up the blower, but the sound stops when i turn off the a/c. Have anyone had this problem?

could be the CCC fan - sit in the car and wait for the noise to come, the press both eject buttons and the volume knob and it'll reset. Actually wait, I'm not sure this kills the fan. You can control the fan speed with DIS for testing purposes if you want
record the noise and post it up here
