Really? I didn't know that. I have often used it when my engine gets a little dusty because I thought it was the safest and least toxic cleaner. Thx

Auto Zone is having sales, but they don't sell a lot of premium cleaning solution.

Does anyone use paste wax?

I have seen a post on an M3 forum by someone who uses Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaner to make the engine sparkling clean. Just spray on, let sit and rinse off after a few minutes. I do think you need to wrap plastic over some of the electrical components so they don't get wet, however.

"I" haven't cleaned mine in years and it's still nice and clean under the hood.

(see attached pic. )

One of my son's chores. Anyway, just warm water on a towel every other month to maintain. It only takes about 15 min. He points out any fluid he sees before wiping it so that I can watch out for leaks.

Mine, not that dirty, but quite greasy on the lower level....
