I'm trying to figure out how to turn on the angel eyes without turning on the parking lights. Today I saw a 3 serious with the angel eyes turned on without the rear taillights on so I'm guessing you can turn on the angel eyes without activating the parking lights. The 3 series also had the white angels eyes, not the stock yellow halogen lights. It looked nice. Makes me want to get the angelibright set. Don't know yet. $350 is quite steep.

The 3 series you see around they have ?m?nitza predator angel lights upgrade not Angelibrights. They are very bright and have the options of being on as daytime lights. They don't make em for our E60's yet but pretty soon .

As far as I know, you can't turn on the Angel Eyes without the parking lamps (rear taillilghts). Just one click clockwise of "off" position turns on the Angel Eyes. For the best effect, make sure the dealer turns off the DRLs (daytime running lamps) cuz they are ugly yellow.

The Angel Lights are the parking lights including the Eyebrows and the side leds
(+ in the US the yellow side lights).

Messing with the electronics -> everything is possible

In Europe, the DRLs can be activated via the iDrive. In North America, (US and Canada) the dealer will have to activate them for you.

IndianGoneMAD, your dealer is too lazy to turn them on for you.

You got your E60 through European delivery right? Maybe that's why you can turn them on and off.
