My 2006 530xi has 99,xxx miles and the service message comes up everytime I start the car, telling me to change the spark plugs. How can I reset the computer as the plugs are replaced, please don't tell me the dealership must do it. Thanks Chris

[No need to actually start engine]
Turn on engine
Reset trip meter to zero
Turn off engine
Turn on engine
Hold down trip meter reset button for about 5 seconds until triangle caution symbol shows up and goes away
Press and release trip meter reset button until spark plug symbol is displayed
When spark plug symbol is displayed, press and hold trip meter reset button until "OK" is displayed under spark plug symbol, release trip meter reset button

You're welcome, cleung. The oil change interval reset is in that service menu too. Ditto for brake fluid, front brake service, rear brake service, cabin microfilter, service inspection reminder and state inspection reminder.
