I bought my 07 530i with 59k miles for 21800 w/o an extended warranty. The extended warranty is a huge bonus. I think 28k might be a bit high. You see lots of < 30K mile cars for that price.
Kbb is not too accurate in this economy these days

My Ride: 2007 Sapphire Black Metallic 525i. Beige Dakota Leather, Premium package, bluetooth, BMW Assist, Xenon adaptive lights, Sirius radio
See what the market will bear. List it at the higher price and see if you get any takers or offers.

I bought my 2004 CPO SMG 545i with 46000 miles, sport package, cold weather package, premium sound etc... for $25,000 and that was a year ago.
IMHO a better price would be from the $19k - $23k range. I personally wouldn't buy an '07 530 for $28k, especially since the F10 release is right around the corner. Once those hit the streets the value of our e60's is going to drop.

My Ride: 2010 M5 alpine white, black full leather, etc.
The first one able to put money on the table is likely to be your best offer these days. You must consider how long you are willing to wait around. In other words, taking a little less sooner, allows you to put the money to use faster. A lot of vehicles for sale seem to be hanging around the forum classifieds unsold for long periods of time. Of course you need a ballpark figure in your mind to start with that is reasonable and yet flexible. Do your used car pricing homework diligently.
