How much does it cost to certify a 5 series

Just an rough idea of how much it would cost the dealer to certify a 525.. Just wondering because im trying to figure out the value of a certified car vs a non-certified car

One is how much money they have to put in it to meet BMW CPO standards ... another is how fast they can turn it in their particular market. If it's figuring out what the financial risk of not having the CPO coverage that is very dependent on the car and the likelihood that a major covered system could fail during the covered period (like trans or engine). Pricey electronics aren't covered by CPO ... like iDrive or Nav!

Another thing to consider is that BMW can't CPO a car if it has had certain issues such as "frame damage". By purchasing CPO'd you hare having the dealer rule out certain issues that you would have to have inspected / detected on your own when buying used.
