How many miles before your car is due for service?

We have 14.000 km on our E60 530dA, and the computer says 17.000 km to service 
We drive alot longer routes (800-900 km) where we drive with 120 km/t and cruise control, with 1800 rpm - and YES the service is based on the fuel comsumption 
We will make the first service when the car has 30.000 km on clock, isn't that to long to drive before the first oil change??
