I know a lot of us would like to change cars as often as change girlfriends (at least for me) if there is no problem financially (what a lucky guy ). But realistically , will you change the car when it's still under warranty and everything runs smoothly?

That's a good question!
I voted 4-5 years, since that was the original plan, but I usually don't stick with my first plan and switch after three years.
But who knows. I have a nice license plate and would lose it on a new car. We'll see... Time will tell...

iceman, i'm with you. just because i have a 60-month loan and i'll lose big if i change car anytime before that . but i hardly keep my car for more than 5 years. especially when you see people around you have new toys every 2-3 years .

I chose 10 years and up because this is my first Luxery car. I had an 84 320i but that thing was a POS. Got me to Brugge belgium though.

Hopefully not for too much longer, since our particular car is so problematic! The plan was 3 years, as that is how much the lease is for.

My last car did 85,000 kilometers in 14 months, and I'm expecting to do similar milage in this one. Kindof hard to change the odometre these days.
