Hi!
Does anyone know how to adjust the volume on the BMW Professional sat nav.
I have a 2005 E60 and I cant seem to work out how to do it.
When the voice is playing, if I try to do when it is announcing directions, the radio volume just increases afterwards.
Ath the moment you can hardly hear the voice directions over the radio volume. There must be a way to adjust the radio volume and the satnav voie volume separately
Any ideas?
It has the latest software as it went into BMW to get done last week and also had the MP3 retrofit which works fine while it was there!

From what I remember, you have to be on a route w/ guidance on and then you can just raise the volume by using the standard radio knob. You will notice that the volume of the instructions has increased.

OR When the female voice speaks, quickly press the volume + on the steering a couple of times in quicky.
Slightly off topic but why didn't BMW give us the option of a male voice. I rather take directions from a male and not female voice.
cheers

Here's a link to an article about the people behind the voices:

I want the female voice from the 7 series in the Bond flick Tomorrow Never Dies
Would have been a nice feature if you could upload voices from the NAV DVDs...maybe a feature on the new CIC?
