how i reset oil?

My Ride: bmw 530d,2004,500nm,navi profesional.bi-xenon ,adaptive curve light,active sterring,etc...

i just change my oil,and how i reset oil?don't send me on a dealer becaus is not in my province!!

msport package, steptronic, pdc, mystik blue, grey dakota leather, sunroof, Bi-Xenon, heated rear seats, Hi-FI system, velour carpets

Go into your idrive. press the idrive knob when in start menu. Choose service and then check oil level. It takes a while but it's working.
If you're car is one of those with dipstick you just need to use that one.

and that's not nesessary a good thing.
I was in the belive that those service settings can only be resetted
by the dealer/service.

Yes I'm sure. When you go into the service menu you can choose "check oil level". If you push the I-drive to the right when you're on the menu that's highest up on the display you come to the oil level. If you understand what I mean
