I'd agree with Rudy on this one, but with one caveat: as good as they are, their performance on twisty back roads is definitely much more enjoyable with the m-tech suspension. I find the standard one a little too soft/wallowy

enjoy your e60 anywhere. on the curves, another option other than m-tech suspension, maybe some aftermarket springs/coilovers and/or some sways will make it more enjoyable for you.

Active steering works well under any conditions. It works especially well with the sport automatic transmission in the 08 LCI. When sport is engaged the active steering is enhanced to work even better with sport mode.

I just took my car to Reno this past weekend and concur the already known fact that the 5-series has awesome handling and power!!! I was excited about the drive before the trip and wasn't disappointed afterwards. The car felt like it was on rails and the step-tronic was awesome to use while climbing the steep twisty hills. I was amazed how the car kept pulling in 5th gear. My car doesn't have active steering.., so imagine how much better it would be with it in the twisties??

Active steering helps the most at high speed and very low speed.
