I saw a lot of members here replaced their stock RE050 around 18000 miles or sooner. I'm a fairly aggressive driver, I already put 22000 miles on it, and it will last another 3000 miles easily.

Who put the highest mileage on his/her RE050A RF?

I changed mine at 15K, not because they were worn out, becuase I hated them and they were going downhill in ride quality. They would have seen out about 4k more before wear indicators but that is too late in my book. Nothing is more important to safety then tires.

I also tried re-alignment and balancing and they were infact worse - too late in their life I guess.

Loving the convensional rubber though

I have probably put around 25000 on my RE050As... I'm really sure how much miles I have put on them since I use snow tires during the winter and my car currently has around 35000 miles... estimate around 10K for the 3 winters I have had the car... so I'm guesstimating around 25K on my runflats.

Not to get off topic, but 2 of my non run-flat RE050A's with only 2000 miles on them have turned out to be defective, out-of-round "eggs." My dealer road-force balanced all 4 of my wheels/tires and found both front tires to be oval-shaped. The machine couldn't even finish the balance due to the tires being so warped..."TEST FAILURE." The replica wheels turned out to be perfectly round, with no issues at all. So, now I will have to go through my warranty process. Loads of fun that will be!

41,000 miles on my rears and the fronts still had about 15k left when I sold the car.

Hands up, I drive like an old woman

30,001 on all 4 when I changed to exact same tires. Rear tread was driver as fronts probably had 5k left in them but did not want to do this in two phases. Had tires drop shipped from Tire Rack to BMW dealer for install. Worked well.

Mine are staggered (275 rear, 245 front, in 19" size ) so no rotation ever done. Probably 30-40 1/4 runs so expect my rears wore a little sooner than normal. OTOH I do live where the roads are smooth so may gain compared to others there.
