If it is any help from a fellow Miami resident who was in your position last year, the 5-Series tends to be gone from our market for a 2 month period during the transition.
The dealers love this as they start to push up the negotiation price on a 2008 5-Series by claiming that they are in hugh demand (with no supply).
As you know, we have tons of 5-series in South Florida.
