How does SMG affect resale value?

Kelly Blue Book indicates that SMG makes no differnce on resale. This seems odd to me. I would expect SMG to reduce resale value since it is a relatively new technology that requires some learning.
Anyone have any evidence that SMG reduces resale value?

Good question... I dont think SMG will help re-sale value... but wont hurt either if you find the right buyer...

I do not think it will have much of an impact. In a couple of years, SMG - or variations - will be much more common. Audi, Porche, and others have or will be coming out with versions .

Best indicator would be to see what impact it has on the M3 as it has been out for a few years. Granted it's a different buyer/market segment but it could help you formulate your theory.
