How do you like your 2006 525xi
I have an 07 525xi that I am very happy with. Bought it about 6 months ago with 8,000 miles for $35,000. Search and you will find several threads aobut it being under powered since it doesn't have the turbo, but I think it is just fine. Good acceleration, soild feel, great handleing. I do a lot of highway drivning and it is a great ride. If I feel the need for speed, I take out the Corvette.

I'm considering buying a 2006 525xi and just wanted to know what people think who own one. I found one for $25,000 CPO with about 30k miles. Any positive/negative feedback would be appreciated.

I have the 2006, 525xi. Great car, fast but not quick. You will be beaten off the line by quicker cars, but it will take you up to 145 MPH (rev limited), and at that speed you will find that many people just give up the race because they're afraid, and you win.

I thought my 325xi was slow so I would imagine that the 525xi would feel like a cow I. A horse race compared to your 540

Thats good to hear. I have a 1997 540i right now and its very quick, so i'm sure the 525xi will take a while to get use to. I love the speed dont get me wrong, but I know one day gas will be on its way up again and i'll be glad that I got the 525xi. Do you have Navigation? If so how do you like the idrive?
Seems most Idrive problems occur to cars with Nav.
