I am trying to put my new bumper in the car and I cannot fold down the seats! They move about 2 inches and I can see they fold down but cannot figure it out...

You sure you have the fold-down seat option?

Do you have the "through-load" option?

Not all E60 seats fold!!

If they do, the release levers are in the boot (trunk), top left and right as you look in! However, if they aren't there, the seats don't fold, and you'll need a van/roofrack to get your bumper home!!!

The mystery is...you were able to move the back seat for 2 inches. How the hell did you do that?

With a pry bar and some "light" cracking from the seat supports?
