I saw an M5 with folded mirrors (looked ugly with the mirrors folded upwards), but I don't know if the driver did this manually or the car did it automatically.

If you have an LCI (2008+) its with the mirror switch assembly on the drivers door.
To the left is the fold button, in the middle is the wheel and to the right selects left and right mirror and tiltdown backup side mirror.
also on pre-lci too as i have folding mirrors

Not all cars have this. In the USA this is an option. If I knew then what I know know, I would have looked for a car with this option.

Mine has it, but it's not automatic. Since nobody has yet to say their US cars mirrors folds and unfold automatically, we have to conclude the "auto" part is not available in the US.
We don't get remote closing of our windows either, but I think Europe does.

Hey you could have had Pro Nav as well if you wanted In the US its Pro Nav or No Nav, atleast we have a cheaper alternative in case we find BMW's price for Pro Nav daylight robbery (which it is).

haha you said "daylight robbery" must be the UKs version of "Highway Robbery" which would have been more appropriate in this instance anyway!
