How do I turn my side mirror lights on?

I have not play with the settings at all (maybe my friends did) but now my side mirror lights and interior lights don't turn "on" when I open the car. I check the settings and it has "40" seconds for my lights to be on.

Should happen automatically when you open the vehicle with your remote, i have the down lights on the side mirrors too and they have worked fine from day one, maybe you need to contact your dealer.

Interior lights you mean the dome light? that should be on once you unlock the door with the remote. As for the light under the mirror, you need extended light package for that to be lit.

My car lights have always turned on since I picked it up...it has 1000 miles. My car was garaged for a week and today I noticed the interior dome light side mirror lights didn't turned on. I checked my manual and it says to use the FOB to turn the lights on with the center buttom, but its not working either?

Is this going to be my first visit to the dealer or could one of my friends have changed and or press any buttoms inside the vehicle?

My Ride: 545i Mystic Blue/Black Leather Type 124 Wheels

Press the centre bottom by the "dome light" to get them to switch on and then see if it works when unlocking the door.

If one didnt want the lightsd to come on when ulocking the car you can press and hold the centre button till the lights go off. Then they dont come on when you unlock. pressing the button again puts them back into normal mode.

Maybe someone pressed and held your centre button, thus making your lights not come on.

I went to turn the engine on, closed the doors and pressed the middle buttom on the dome... turned engined off and all lights turned on when I exited...
