How can I stop the current CD playing and restart it at the place I stopped it?

Oh thanks. Somehow I seem to think that the CD continues to play on 'internally'. I'll check it again the next time I'm out and about.

It might depend on which software you're running. I'm sure my early model used to just mute rather than 'pause' before I got v13.2...

Just mute the cd player and it will start to play where it was before turning it off.

The CD always spin so that it can resume where it left off.

Mute or go to another source should do the same. Will bring you back where you left off. Now if you shut down and restart when in mute, you will find it restarts (from where you left it) even if u have not turned mute off.

Of course, never said it stopped!

It might be my imagination but I'm sure my early software v10/11 I think just muted whilst the CD carried on playing. Once I had v13.2 I sure it did actually mute and 'pause'...
