How do i reset the flat tire icon on dashboard

My Ride: 550
i was driving yesterday and out of nowhere it says flattire...i pull over and check my tire pressure and everything alright besides my REAR RIGHT the PSI was at like 27 when usually i keep them at 42 in the rear..i filled up air again and it seems to be alright..i spoke to my brother and he said to put the car in N and go in the idrive and reset it from there..is this correct? please let me know im trying to have my car running good for this weekend

The instructions to reset the FTM are in iDrive. They are something like: 1) stop the car. 2) start the engine. 3) Go into iDrive and reset the FTM. 4) Drive.
You can only start the reset process when the car is stopped, and it will only reset once you start driving it.
Again, the instructions are really straight forward and in iDrive.

so i stop the car and then i start it? i have the first version of iDRIVE so do u think it will still tell me how to do it? thanks for your help randy
