I had to change my battery in my 2007 530i in the parking lot and now car will not start. How do I reset my computer to get back on the road?

Not enough information. Was the battery charged? Do electrical functions work? Is it the proper sized battery? Why did you have a spare battery with you in the first place?
You shouldn't have to reset your computer (other than possibly registering it) after a battery swap.

You should not have to do anything to get the car started. What I suggest is registering the battery if you want a long life out of it.
