Hi guys,

Here in Germany the American radio station broadcasts on 100.2 and my radio only goes on odd freqs, like 100.1 and 100.3. A friend of mine used to have 100.2 in his BMW but he is gone now for me to ask.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

I assume your car is a US-spec one and not European. I don't know too much about the European broadcast frequencies but I think some countries do use the even numbered increments (.2, .4, .6, etc.) while the US uses the odd numbered ones (.1, .3, .5, etc.)

Your friend may have had a Euro-spec car or it might have a European version of the software. I don't think there's any way for an end-user to change this setting but hopefully someone else can teach us a new trick...

it automatically scans all available frequencies and has them displayed on the radio screen in idrive.

Not necessarily -- the radios can be programmed to skip over frequencies that aren't used in a particular country or region. I think that's the issue we're dealing with here...
