Spray some brake cleaner on the "contact areas" where the sensors are connected to the brake pads. And if that does not work, get yourself a new set of BMW OEM factory sensors and repeat the first step again. >>>> Spray some brake cleaner on the contact areas where the sensors and pads are connected.

I am speaking from personal experience and it worked for me. I hope you will get the same result.

Good luck!

PS: For me, the hardest part of replacing brake pads and rotors was trying to get the pads to reset to the proper mileage.

There's really not much to the sensors -- hard to believe you would have received a bad one. Did you make sure the front sensor is plugged fully into the socket within the wheel well and there was no debris inside it inhibiting contact?

Hi!

I just recently got this brake wear warning light and I did change the new original rear brake pads but still I can still see the warning light. The rear brake wear sensor is on the rear right side wheel and I change the sensor and all the warning light are gone. Please change the rear brake wear sensor and all your trouble will go away. Good luck.
