I've read and seen different things about whether the 545i is going to be replaced with a 550i in the Fall -- what's the lastest, most reliable information?
Also, do people know if Active Steering is, in fact, coming out of the Sport Package?
Thanks to all!

BMW Australia Planning department has definitely said 550I will be out in Oz very early 2006. Nothing in writing but from BMW Australia, but I did get this in writing (email)from A Victorian BMW dealer.
A Bmw Executive at The Melbourne Motor Show ( coincides with the F1 Grand Prix) said its likely to be in australia as early as xmas.
Given we are usually 3 months behind the LHD market i guess this backs up whats been said in this forum about September production ??
PS im still going to buy a demonstrator Carbon Black 545i Msport if the big boss ( wife) agrees
