Hi all senior member.
i'm new to this site. After i read on many useful thread, start worry me the oil temp(overheat) on my 535XI. Due to the dashboard without oil temp display. Could anyone lead the way to check the oil temp without additional tools or computer?
Also, does any of you have with oil cooler on your 535? Dealer told me we don't need it. i'm confused why we don't need it while our vehicle is much heavier/more load on the engine and tranny. On the other hand, all the 335 owner said it's essential for the E9x.
Lastly, does XI have transfer case as i'm looking to change the LSD fluid so i thought i do replace transfer case as well.
thank you in advance

Also, we already have an oil cooler. A pretty big one in fact. Open your hood, look at the oil filter housing, follow the tubes to the oil cooler. The oil cooler is located right in front of the radiator.
We also have a power steering cooler and an automatic trans cooler.
