Ok, I have an 05 545i sport and would love an extra inch or two of leg room. I am 6'5. Are there any tricks to achieve this. I know the old 5 series had a clip in the chair rail, but there is nothing like that on my E60. Does anyone know any DIY's to gain the extra room? any help would be MUCH appreciated

Since I have nothing substantive to offer, how about another smart@$$ comment?

Remove the front seat and sit in the back seat?

Seriously, I'm just a touch under 6'0 (depends on the haircut a la Fletch) and my seat is back almost as far as it goes. I hauled a friend from Holland around, who is about 6'3, and he was not comfortable. Sorry. Hopefully someone has a trick.

I'm not sure you'll find a good driving position ... I found myself to get more comfortable in E65 regarding leg room and arm position.
