The 5er will be very cheap this year coz the new 1 will be out end of the year.
Audi A6 and MB E-class are coming out this year so the 5er has to come out this year or they will loss some customers

lets face it, mb fans will stick with mb, v few will convert. audis, made in germany and yet cheaper is definitely a major selling point for a lot of people.
plus audi has a v agressive marketing campaign, btw a mainland friend of mine bought a 525 and was invited to zhuhai performance driving. in hk, you will need to be a top end customer for that.
so agreed, bmw need to lower their cost and provide better service to regain market share.

there wasnt a lot of detail on the paper but did mention a reduction of 95k, bear in mind though they are 2008 model.
Also if you what to do mods with a LCI car dont even think about it cos alot of parts dont fit

And many 3rd party company's will not design or make parts for the LCI coz the new F10 will be out soon.
