You are selling off your 18" OEM? Can I be the first in line to buy it from you? I know that tyre shop offer you like low price for trade in. I am really desparate of getting rid of my 16" coz it ruin the looks of this beautiful car, thanks!

Hi AC_S5,
Yes, I will be selling my 18" OEM Style123. But I havent made up my mind on which new wheels to get yet. Besides, I still need to shop around for quotes. Will contact you before I get the new rims, see if you're still interested then, ok?
Cheers,
Ah Jai

How much do you think they would charge if I only want the Front part done?

Maybe half of the price? About $10 grand? But i honestly don't think it would be a good choice to have only a M front apron, but not the sides and rear...

If you want just the front, would you consider a ACS or Breyton front? both looks nice, and would looks good only w/ the front...

Well... just my 2 cents...

I really like those euro reflectors on the back and the mud flap quite useful coz your car is cleaner with it. I have seen this fellow on this forum with only the front done and is quite nice too, so just thought that's an option.

Don't really know if they sell the AC front separately though.

I think the space in our e60's trunk only allows a small size spare wheel/tire, not a full sized one.? Keep that in mind wor.?

I think my car comes with a full size spare, well of course that's a 16"

Oh, I thought I hv just a small spare in the trunk, or maybe it's a 520i thing... Sorry for giving u wrong info. :'(

Hi Bunbun

After what you said I went to check out my car and find out is a compact spare, BMW is getting cheap now  , I use to have a full size spare on my E39.

And I think is a 17" spare, strange? But I guess is too dark and I can't see it correctly can anyone confirm this?

I'd bought my body kit at a company ships directly from germany for BMW and MB parts, they gave me a good deal coz my friend knows one of their staff very well. My friend bought some parts there for his SLK, it's about only 1/3 of the price from what the dealer charge!

For my bodykit, w/ installation and everything under $20k

Hi gf366,

Is it possible you can give me the contact info for the shop you mentioned? I am actually interested in getting the Xenon light retrofit, but the price from BMW HK is just too ridiculous.

Or if you don't mind, you can do a price check for me on those listed items...

Hi Guys

I scouted out a place for possible meet up on Oct 11th, please see map below.? There is a helicopter pad and a large parking lot at where the arrow is pointing.? It has also got a very nice unobstructed view of the city skyline of Hong Kong.? Great for picture taking before our drive off.? Also it is right next to the highway entrance/exit for easy access.

Just a suggestion?

Bunbun

Good, so what time are we meeting up?

Is it the place where the W220 S Class brochure took a picture when it came out in 1998? Let me try to dig it out from my hard drive...

Thank you gf366. The price difference is too big so I would rather go after market, especially you have done it and satisfy. Anyone here want to do the M-kit also? Maybe we could get a group discount!

Do you think your shop would like to do more M-kit?? As I'm very interested and I think some of the members here are interested also?
Of course they would be happy to do more business! But you have to decide in advance that, you may aways do such a job @ BMW HK, for more money... I'm saying this because some people never like to do any mods outside of the dealer, as they always said the dealer is always the best!

If few of you guys would really interested in buying/installing the bodykit from the shop that i go, I'm pretty sure they may offer us a group deal!

In this case, I would go with the M front and sides, but not the rear. Believe me, the sides looks very subtile that one may hardly able to diffrientiate w/ the sides or w/o, but then the body lines of the car would flow much better...

I agree with you that the original rear bumper looks pretty decent, that there isn't a need to change it...

Well, maybe for our next meet, you can see Bunbun's car and my car to see how you like the M-kit...
