Nah, my wife won't know if the retorfit kit is installed or not since it is not visable. In fact she doesn't even know I have changed the steering wheel.

Keith, thanks for the headup. If you read further down the post, someone says it is a E39 M5 exhaust. Even if it is an original E60 M5 exhaust, it will require some serious mod to get it fit (i.e. to remove the battery & spare tire section). Anyway, I am happy with the exisitng Arqray Quad. Maybe Bill should be the one to consider.
thanks Keith
M5 exhaust is too heavy, 40kg or so??it will make my car slower.
i still have my Arqray, which i think has the best welds and construction around,
due to length of the original center pipe which was cut, i can only fit an Arqray Quad, i am waiting for the price to come down now.

I think billhk uses 1, I used to use 1 but not any more.
I drive very safe now
i have the X50, but only use it driving to the NT or out with the E60 crew.
if you don't go over 12kmh over the limit, don't bother to get it, but it acts as a deterent
to driving fast!!
