BMW suggests change oil every 20,000 Km (I might be wrong), but 20k is a bit too much  i would change every 8000km.

I have already asked Ricky to get one for me
Meaning to get the resistor before, but being a electric idiot, i have no idea what to get at all haahaa

Thanks again Ricky, and you finally managed to take the bulbs out
Keith,

Did you brought the License plate LED from here before ?
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=64405

The seller claims that PRE-LCI models have no error messages. Some LCI models will have error messages. These LEDs have built-in resistors so yur idrive will not show bulb malfunction. License Plate LEDs will be $28 shipped to your door

I don't think so and found the wording should in reverse, LCI models after 09/2005 may haven't fault error, because Ah Kin told me all E90 can just install and no need resistor to foul the computer. So I think BMW ignore this checking or change setting afterward.

He sell the LED should as same as I brought from Sham Shui PO and the price HAHAHA. can't say too much.

Dave,
your take photo skill not higher enough, Can you saw that the result from others so brightness than your photo. Others use the same specification LED.

looks like you are using wiless internet.
the computer says 25000km which is way too much.
if you what the car in tip top sharpe, alway change the oil and oil filter.
for spark plugs itis best to change them every 2 oil change. The computer say 100000lm to change spark plug.
If you dont touch the computer after change things, you will still be OK to go back to the dealer to do the 1st servise

Im planning to get a used 5 anyways..04-05... so technically modding it wont affect the warranty since its over anyways?

What is the difference with the 04-05s and the 06+s?

I just saw a used 530i for 300k!! The price is becoming SO attractive...its better than getting a used GS300 etc...

I need to look for one with the M-tech kit + wheels tho..

All I know is 04 and 05 dont have MP3
GS300 is nice but its no way near as good as BMW
If you can find 1 with the kit that a bonus but wheels I would just get a new set from sing fai if you know which set you what.
