Yes, they are the BMW 135 M Rims. They cost HKD4,950 each at BMW = HKD19,800 for the set. Apparently this was 20% below the list.
The Michelin Pilots (245/40 R 18) were another HKD2,500 each = HKD10,000 for the set.
Not cheap but a much better ride than the run flats which came with the car.
Cheers
Ed

Sounds like my 172M wheels are bargain here I got mine for HKD$ 17000 (Genuine BMW parts inc shipping from US) and pay another $10K for tyres Dulop sport maxx 245/35/19front and 275/30/19 rear.
Damn good deal you got there Keith. I know who to call when I need to upgrade.
Hey all, while we're on the topic of rims, does anyone know where to get some decent dustless brake pads in HK? Was reading about them on the US thread. I'm getting tired of needing to clean the rims every week.
Cheers,
Ed

Although Many US fellas saying Axxis is good but...well i will stick with EBC as i used on my previous cars and it was excellent.
Anyone got more suggestions on brake pads choice?

Pinguhk: I thought the GTR was my friends boss, but it turns out not to be. My friend took it out for a drive last friday. He said the power after 3000rpm is incredible. It makes driving actually difficult and tiresome! But he played with a R34 and Evo X along the road to tuen mun.
Has anyone ever had their aircondition malfunction? Last sunday but aircon won't turn off even after the car was locked. Also it sounded like it was on full power even with the aircon set to smallest. The problem disappeared after i took it to BMW To Kwa Wan, but before arriving at the service centre.

For the aircon best bet to take it back to BMWHK to check it out or your local workshop.

My Ride: Mini Cooper
got the car back today and change the gearbox oil and filter and the car is like new, cost load to change but well worth it if Im going to drive it for other 3 years.
also change the 2 belts at the front, had little crack on it.
I see that after 3 years, there are many ware and tairs on the car.
