Keith

Pingu Dave has brainwashed me that my ride looks crap unless I get it lowered he is that little devil and the angel!
one more thing to show u the e60 is the best, BMW Hk boss (I introduced Pingu to him at the last test in r bay)drives a silver e60 touring latest facelift model
he said it was the best to drive and get abt in, and used to have a X5 4.8/7series or whatever takes his fancy!
O come on did not say it was crap just say it would look better.
E60 will never look crap

O...really??So literally you know him?I only saw him the car magazine unfortunately, but my friend knows the sales manager tho
I thought he would be driving M-series car like...M5, M6 or even new M3......

Really, he takes what he fancy! Maybe he know E60 touring is one of the rarest car in HK!
M5 and M6 are not for HK roads at all to hard to drive for day to day use, maybe Weekend car only yes.

Hi Keith,

can't lower it yet as it's under warranty, maybe some eibach springs will do the biz.
how much were the supersprints? arqray welding and construction is very good, but noisy as said.
yep, ACS badges, all those small acs tiny badges are too small to be read, had the full PU bodykit fitted,
front, sides, lower rear, boot lip, glass spoilers.
maybe this is it, no more mods can be done.... or will pingu the devil say otherwise??new wheels??
well Billhk this can can be endless of mods and depends on what you what
Ride, looks, power, handling.
I have them all apart for the power which I dont care about in HK.
handling is more importen than power.
So next H&R swaybars and towerbars for you billhk

he's not a young man, and so Ms are not his thing, anyhow all Ms are sold and there are no demonstrators to pick up and drive home.

i think he has been quite successful these 10 years, BMW, RR and Mini ar all top brands in HK&Macau
anyhow next time I change up I hope to get a good trade in and discount off the next 5 series or??.

I know they have a mysterious 2 door coupe primed to be produced in response to the Audi R8, but awaiting approval from the big bosses, hope they push it out soon.

don't you guys think the new 3 series saloon/coupe looks like a 80's E30??

Really??another 911 rivals?

Audi has done really well in recent years in looks, inteior and technology. (Apart from the A5/S5 tho....it looks like a copy cat of E92...and S5 is slower than 335i coupe in the track!!...5th gear tested)

But R8 looks really cool in real (Saw couple of R8 in UK already) it turns many heads and i doubt BMW could make a good looking car. Seen any in HK yet?

don't you guys think the new 3 series saloon/coupe looks like a 80's E30??

In what extents?

M5 is ok for everyday use. But the constant worry of having SMG transmission failure is quite troublesome.

The first batch of Audi R8's are in Hong Kong already. They will start delivering them around dec 10th.

smg, does that play up all the time?? can't get used to the paddles, tried my boss's Maser and was well awqward,
best for geezers of our age using Autos.
you know one thing, those AMGs can still get the acceleration times using just Auto.

Audi - bmw has to be worried, maybe success has gone to their heads, 4stars ncap and the debacle of the 08 e60 safety tests tell us one thing, they aren't listening to the real world.
this is the most embarrassing point, how come a Honda Accord can get 5 stars??
From talking to many guys in Germany and UK, Audi is on the up technologically and hate to admit it, overtaken BMW
(they overtook MB a few years ago)
i mean with all the Lambos, the new R8 (no supercar viual aappeal) and the Veyron all done by these guys, and this A5 which is a copy of a E92,
in China a Q7 is more rated than an X5!
Joe Public now thinks Audi is on par with BMW!

the latest M3 was a disappointment, after the ex AMG guy (who built M div up) left M division the have lost the plot, both looks and performance,I was expecting a AMG C55/63 killer on paper as well as round a track, 1.40M in HK???? way too overpriced, i'd get a used F360 or Porsche 996/7 no second thoughts.

if the next lot of 5series looks crap and interior not bling enuff (look at the 3 series E90) i won't buy it, the designers Bangle and Adrian V D H should be protected.
we have to voice our disappointment to BMW to stop the rot.

+1 on the 360 me too
as for the next 5er f10 well as long itis faster than the 1 I got and a stiffer shasee then I still go for it, for the intee I dont mind as long as it not too crap. OK will do for me, I like the handling more than the intee for me.
5er is the white mice for all BMW cars so they can not F**k it up
The worst intee in BMW got to be the Z4 the middle bit is way too big look like a sufe board.
