well only time I race is 1s in a bluemoon in HK
I did 165mph in my dad 7er in the 90s too going from Warwick to London on the M40
I will get a 2nd hand new X5 in 4 years time, No need for other sportcar got a S2000 now and itis very fun to drive
165 is fast!! near the record late 80's record of that German insurance guy, he got done for 175
going to Newcastle in a Porker 928S4 modified, the sierra couldn't catch up, then the Rangie and then
the Jag got lost, they only got him in a careful raodblock, funnything is he got left off!

have been lucky in my boss's 755 on the autobahn at 185mph, the bleedin thing has seat massage and e suspension etc,.
and recently in his Maser Cambiocorsa at 160 and it was raining, those German guys really have guts, can't wait to get in his new Maser GT.

ride is ok, a bit more responsive than the 122 alloys with rft i had before, will get a better photo as the angle was bad
and indeed it looks small.
i have driven my mates 530i, but it is in SHENZHEN and not sure if the quality is up to German built ones,
would be nice to try yours out, what power is it pushing out?

stock M54 about 196hp but feels like 230hp

Hamman is the best looking, esp with front paddles/splitters, but can't justify the cost
for my model. ACS ok, but the front lower lip looks a bit tame/odd, the rear is good though.
whenever i flip thru Per BMW or Total BMW it's really tempting to get it done up,
maybe a M front bumper, any for sale used?

i saw a e60 today in Central, it was silver but the rear lower diffuser, M or unidentified? was in black and it had black quad pipes, it looked cool,
it was rocketing along so couldn't see the wheels.

Have seen a black E60 around CWB and Central, everything black, grille, tints etc,. and had some evil matt black Ac IV 19/20 inches, now that looked like a German equiv of a badass Skyline.

hey what is yr dream car??

and looking back at yr thread, e60 525i can easily do 150mph, i did 136 in my RS Cosworth way back and it could do 145,
my colleages are in Germany and they regularly speed, one has just got the new 3series Coupe 335i twin diesel turbo, that is fast=545i petrol! one has a A6, it fell apart after a trip thru Switz and Italy, engine blew up, handles fell off, etc,. a complete lemon, so much for the quality of Audis.

I got a 19" wheels with Dulop tyres now(Non runflat) and the ride quality is better than my old 17" Breyton with runflat!!
Cos the Runflat had hard tyre shell and it will ruin the ride quality.....

How does the sebring compare, droney or screaming?any power increases?
Has anyone lowered using eibach springs?
It definitely sounds much better than the stock......but dun think it will help with the power gains.....
And sometime feels too loud at low rpm especially when you wanna a complete quiet cabin..(As all 5-series should be)
But it did sounds nice i have to say........

Thinking of getting the H&R sport spring......but after fitting the M-sport kit recently.....just too scare the street hump and the car park bump will scratch my front bumper.......even my one hasn't got sport suspensions.

Btw...i live not too far from you guys.....i live in guildford in Surrey.

Keith
