Hey sliu_uu, yes Im back. Too bad I missed the BMW event. Saw them setting up the place tho as I go to the Fairwood at Far East Financial Centre everyday for breakfast. It is unfortunate the part of the lot is leased out to Sino, otherwise u'll hv more room to play with. I've been reading so many great reviews on the 335ic, so the 325ic shouldn't too bad right? Hey you coming to the BBQ next week? u hvn't signed up yet.
Hey master bunbun I'll have to miss the upcoming BBQ, I'll be away from HKG

I finally went to the BMW experience this afternoon, but without the driving sessions. It looked like it is really fun to drive there. The track is a little bit larger than the go-kart track, and the Z4 coupe is really nimble. Seems like the E91 touring is not very good in that track.

I almost bought the ACS exhaust tip, they marked the price as $790. BUT without a very little subscript on the left saying "From". So I asked the Parts guy how much it is for the E60. He quoted me $3300 for the tip!!! The price is just so ridiculous.

I acutally asked Ah Kin in Sing Fai, and he quoted me $2100 with installation. I haven't seen the replica before, I saw one in Mong Kok but that one doesn't have the ACS engraved on it.

I also went to observe today, afar and atop the footbridge where I got a good view of the entire site. Man, those testers are really pushing the cars hard. Almost every car that went had screeching tires when cornering. And a few skidded, looked like they were about to crash into the fence. I wonder what BMWHK's plans are for those cars after the event....I dont think anyone would want to buy them, unless at a deep discount. All in all, very fun to watch.
