My Ride: In a place where the Mercedes density is the highest in the world (no. of MB per square kilometer) I choose a Bimmer, why? because of one thing "The Ultimate Driving Experience"

523i Steptronic, Silver Grey Exterior, Black Interior with Black Dakota Leather and Maple Wood Trim. Chrome Grill, Style 123 rim, Airbags everywhere, PDC, Rain sensor, Auto lights, Moveable front armrest, Advance Climate Control, Glass Sunroof, Auto dimming interior and exterior mirror with foldable functions, Extended Lights package, 6 CD changer in glove box, Power seats with memory, Power adjustable steering wheel, Power rear sunblinds.

I just broght a pair of resistor $10 HKD and just put it right inside the plate light housing, works the same with no error messages and half the fuss.

Ya but thats not good... the resister gets too hot cant dissappate the heat. Thats why I've never done it on my car yet. Been too lazy to look for correct resisters and find a way to mount / fit them in that small area... Now I wonder if the E90 is similar to the E60 where I can do what that guy did...

Don't have a problem with it so far, but you know after seeing the guy on E90post with all the wires and stuff, it will be a hassel taking it out when bringing the car in for service as suggest as there are wires wraped around the trunk and stuff.

Hahaha But I think the E60 has a lining cover to cover up all thsoe wires... Now the question is that lining easy to pull off. I'm not too worried about service... they really cant blame it on those... if so its easy to take off.
and everyone should have a simple sodering iron.
This is basically the same thing as what you did but he just used larger resistors and found a place to mount them... have you checked to see if everything is still ok in there?

Guys, I just checked out Audi's new showroom in Admiralty and the new TT also just arrived. Man, I must say, it's a really nice car. The interior is (sad to say) much better made and finished than BMW's. The seat is so comfortable and gives plenty of support. All in all, it's a very futuristic looking sports car. The 2.0TT is selling at $460K, does 0-100 in 6.4s !

I have checked and everything is normal under there except the LED is not working properly. Maybe the resistor is too big. Not enough current going through it.
