nah, it sits just b4 the inlet manifold so around the same size as the intake hose and somehow linked to the throttle sensor / gas pedal. the idea is v simple but dont know how well it works.
btw, bmw rumoured to have a hybrid electric turbo for the next m3 and bmw has a patent on it. of course, the above cannot be compared to this tech.

not sure myself la, I am not really a bhp hungry man. boca has a v decent air intake box (w mushroom) for the e90, definitely should check w song billhk to see if something available for the e60.
man, you have a lot of ideas, dont you? have you considered lightened pulley? but some said it might cause extra mechanical wear on the engine but et has it installed it for a couple of years already, think his is still ok.

not sure myself la, I am not really a bhp hungry man. boca has a v decent air intake box (w mushroom) for the e90, definitely should check w song billhk to see if something available for the e60.

cf itchy ar, mod a bit each month.
i don't want to change pulley. as some one said it is not strong enough after change. so don't bother. i want flash ecu.

hehe, but now, less time for me after have baby and also buzy at work. so lazy to use more time to diy.

no la, from taobao, fuking cheap, about 1.5k for both lip and roof.
i also want to get qual exhaust, but i heard some one say cannot do, a big computer under on the other side.
do u think RPI sound good?
