as far as I heard and seen on the news, a small # are but do not know if it applies to the whole industry. laying off can have a # of reasons, it doesnt always mean bad things, like merger for example (ok, that usually is quite painful for the employees).

Wouldn't you make some hedge (forward contract) to fix the exchange rate?
There were some buyers I quoted at EUR, and receiving those EUR some months thereafter.
The fluctuation was really hurt me last 2 years when it is rate from EUR1: $11.7 to $9.6 and from $9.6 to $11.2....

Or cut as many holes as possible, as HK is seldom too cold.
Unlike other countries, where they must also consider winter days the temp sometimes below 0 C.

even when the iphone/ipad release, some jerks destroy it just for fun.

I dont know... if you want to take the risk and hedge against it... but if its going to crash................. I will leave all this to the pro's! ha ha

Didn't believe EUR would be crash, otherwise how we buy bmw, such a Ultimate driving machine? LOL
(Just my personal thinking, I assure no responesibilies for my view and you take your own risk to any decision)
