2012 BMW 1-Series Hatchback (F20)

Two newly developed 1.6-litre petrol engines (twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision Injection, VALVETRONIC and Double-VANOS):
  • 118i: 125 kW/170 hp at 4,800 rpm, maximum torque: 250 Nm at 1,500 ? 4,500 rpm
    0 ? 100 kph: 7.4 seconds, maximum speed: 225 km/h
  • 116i: 100 kW/136 hp at 4, 400 rpm, maximum torque: 220 Nm at 1,350 ? 4, 300 rpm
    0 ? 100 kph: 8.5 seconds, maximum speed: 210 km/h

saw this last week and showed it to my dad and he is likeing it so maybe we change our 118i to 1 of these but I told him to wait until the i3 comes out 1st before we change the car.
I love this 1 compare to the old 1.

get the current 1m, its a v good daily and drivers car. for the f20, I certainly will wait until more detail comes out on the new 2 and 3 series, they share the same platform. personally I never like the hatchback share, hope the real thing looks better than the 2d picture.

my mum only dose 400mile a year so a bit of wast if she drive a M1

I have ask Pmortering and he say it is not worth it to import car now.
they have change the rules.
unless you like the car alot or you will make money on it you might as well get it from HK.
They have cut the 1 year owning the car now.
If they still had the self own rule then I would get her to buy the M1 in UK.
