Jacky what do you think of your 535i?
better than your old lci e60?
steering is a bit less communication than most other BMW models, I think only when you are pushing it to, or near to it's limit.
Compare to 325i & 130i which I spend 1 & 2 days respectively, to experience their limitations at BMW trainning course I & II and 3 years with my E60, F10 is certainly lacking road feel. Having said that, it is not to say that F10 is slower than others with conventional hydro-power steer.
You maybe difficult to judge how many it's bearance left during cornering, as a result, it is not encourage you to explore more it's limitation.
Anyone spend more time and used to it's electric-steer, the performance will be the same sooner or later.
Positive side is the limo feel and effortlessly for daily driving, which I do enjoy very much. Especially cruise in China where there often more than 2 hour per trip.
And yes, Cpt. The chassis is more solid than it's predecessor, but suffer from more weight. Which I am going to swap extreme lighter wheels yet upsized to 19" and replace with regular tires ( some 16 lbs/4 less than OE ROF tires) to shed inertial mass, in a view to compensate it's weight gained.
Another benefit, of course all you guys already know that the lighter unsprung weight the better handling.
So I enjoy it!
