The memory had not complete wiped. Only need to set the time and seat again.
Date. Music tone. Car setting, light, display still the same.

many common problem need to be fix for my car.

Only unplug the battery and wait when u see it in ak shop.
Last nite, I noticed your e60 is a 2006 June one and just 42xxxKM (if this is true mileage), it should not behave like this.

It accelerate faster after reset.
Shaking still the same.

your shaking problem is not the gear box issue.

It is true mileage for sure.
I think. May cause by bad service by some f-ing cf. Mishandle the car.
It went bk to BMW for service once a yr only. Many problem just done by outside cf.

I bought my 06 e90 new and had the chok chok problem since abt 10km old. It's A common issue w the steptronic gbox and the reset procedure never worked for me. If it's not too chok, I suggest u learn to live w it, I did.

Maybe after the big clean and fix by ak. It can be less chok.
Otherwise. Just get used to it later.
