hello
when idling, the rpm at 600-650, inside the car, there is "lon'lon" sound,
once i step onto gas, above 700rpm, no more sound.
last week, it suddenly ask me to add 1 liter engine oil, last oil change at jan, nxt oil change at june.
after i add 1 liter, no problem now.
on last monday, my steeling wheel cannot be adjust, b4 it malfunction, there is "ka''ka"ka'sound.
nxt morning, i chk again, no problem, at nite time, i chk again, still no problem.
i like the performance, but all these little problem make me worry.

But the kakaka sound in stering wheel seems serious and danger. Is the kakaka sound appear when the car is moving or you just turn the steering wheel when the car is stop?

i really don't know
need a complete fix when oil change nxt time
there is no oil i can find from the floor, last week when i go bmw fans club gtg, then chk my engine, they say it is so clean. shouldn't be leak oil, should be not fill enough oil at last oil change only.
the kakaka sound only happen that nite when i adjust the steeling wheel, never happen again in the nxt morning and nite. and tonite.
it happen when i keep on holding down at the end of the adjustment.
no problem when driving.

I think your car is just "dirty" in the air intake or injection.
maybe there is an engine oil leak at the bottom of the engine bay...a very common problem for all BMW.

Burn engine oil is a common issue in E60
Check battery statues, but electronic system malfunction often, but after restart will gone

alot of stuff that BMWHK can not find to fix we at ak can find it and fix it with a little time that is
