that is sad, the reason is that they have invested in lot of eqpt & people, whilst buyers nowadays prefer cheap product
that look good.BBS wheels have not latched onto the bling or style niche.
look at those companies with a "forged" in their name,eg.i-forged,e-forged, forge...they appear cheap but u pay for what u get.
capt's Breytons look much better than the recent new BBS ranges, so can't blame the buyer!!!
i hope that they survive

I'd say not many people is willing to pay 10K+ for a single piece of forged wheel since there are so many choices in 6K range. Why pay 40% more? For the BBS wheel cap? The quality in the wheel cannot be seen by the crowd, not even myself ... until my BMW service advisor once show me a picture, it's a BBS forged wheel with a detached tyre (the outer side wall has completely gone), only a few mm of outer side wall remains (the owner could possbily keep driving without knowing the tyre has gone, the tyre is attached to the wheel because the inner side wall is still there...), and you know what? The picture shows a wheel without a scratch on the outer edge of the wheel.
