My God, you mean when you are moving on the road, it suddenly stalled? This is damn dangerous. Can't imagine if it happens in highway to airport and moving at 110km/hr.
I am a bit scared to hear it happen in an expensive high quality German AT car.

AK said its unlikely to be SB related.
Will leave the car on Thursday for full check up
