My windshield wiper also streak badly, I will ask them to replace the wiper when I go in for my first oil change.

Got your car back yet mic?
No, still haven't got my car back yet. Hopefully I will have it back tomorrow. I had driven 10300 km for the first year.

Dear all

Sorry about jumping into the conversation. I am Dennis. I haven't been around for a while. I am driving a 530i, planning on going for a M5. I have a set of new Bilstein shocks & springs which I had on my car for less than a week. Will anyone be interested of buying them for HK$7,000.00. 99% new. Let me know. My e-mail is dennis@kstraltd.com. I travel very offen and I will be out traveling again on next Tuesday. Hopefully it could be done before that.

Thanks

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Nice to meet you, I am also driving a 530i too. It's a big step for you from inline six to V10 ! Is that PSS9 or Bilstein sport shock? Beside spring, did you have other mods for sale? ie exhaust, rims... ...

Doesnt make sense... US cars get serviced at 12,000 miles... and other countries get serviced at 12,000km that means we drive longer on our old oil than anyone else and we all have the same oil...

So much for "free maintence" when its actually longer... so they pay less...

When you bring your car in for free maintenence, you only do so when the oil change indicator tells you to do so. On my car it still have 9000 km left, but BMW HK will give you a free maintenence after 1 year even though you car didn't tell you to do an oil change.

That means the oil in my car has been there for a year well most of them eaten up by the engine 6 months into ownership so is different. You guys get more oil change more often as you drive like 12000 miles in 6 months maybe? While the 12,000 km on my car has been there because of one year of driving.

oh so the indicator hasnt told you yet? so if you drove "A LOT" the computer will technically tell you to chage at 20km?

Hahaha I actually go mine changed after 1 year free... i only have 10K miles on the car...

The MINI was the daily and its the same... the count down timer is about 12K miles and 15K miles before each oil change...

I thought your car told you you needed a oil chnage after 12K km... thats why.

At least you got "free maintenance" for the first 3 years. We have to pay $9600HKD for the 2nd year and $17xxx for the 3rd year for the extended warranty.
