sorry to hear, guess you dont have any backup. if the files are important, think you can take it to some shop to recover your data but it might cost some money.

next time, get a second hd for backup.

O come on you are a IT guy
you should well know to have 2 harddisk other for backing up a set
I hope you can get the photos back but most of the time about 60% you can get back.

I just got a new MB and ddr3 ram but used my old 9450 cpu and wow it is alot faster than before with ddr2 ram.

I wish brightness like CCFL but our headlight can't make it.

the movie from my dc is already in avchd format and can be played without transcode in my tv box, so easy

some tidbits for optimizing photoshop
