cos i've found my engine oil level dropped a block (does it matter??)
since it has no engine oil metering ruler
how can i know how much i need?

i know this can be solved at AK
but my ride will be having a BMW service at the end of year
i don't want to change the oil at ak now
cos bmw will change it away...

how come you car has burned 1L of oil as my car has not and I always rev to red line or 5k at lest.
I will be going for a oil change this friday at BMWHK

There is one litre bottle of Mobile 1... no worries, but like FJ said, maybe you can try with BMWHK, you might get lucky...

I believe, you can bring the lube service forward to now if you request it, it's just that you would've used up that one quota, that's all

 

you can check via idrive or ecu how much oil in the engine and can buy 1 quart / L size but like pingy said, bmw will top up wihtin the first year if it hits the min mark (a warning will show up)
