I dont know about DIY but maybe ricky knows more about the install
isn't it just unplug , plug and play?
or you need a small amp to push it since the original output Watt is not big enough?

A little comment for the SBV2
apart from the first half tank of fuel after SBV2 installation
(must be the SBV2 attract me to kick down frequently...it just feels good you know? )
after topped up
I had been using "greenlight" mode for over half tank of fuel so far
I reset the fuel consumption km/L on dash
and so far it shows 8.4km/L which is much more then before!
i used to have ~9.4km/L or even 11km/L if i don't push it at all
i wonder it is a computer calculation error
(due to wrong/ abnormal accelerator signal)
or it is the fact that i used more fuel than before?
anyway, i gonna find it out after i finish this tank
i gonna turn it off for the next tank topped up.

The way I measure the fuel consumption:

Refill when 1/4 tank of fuel remain
Usually I fill up $500 or $600
Reset the Trip A counter
Take a look at the counter when the needle drops to 1/4 tank mark again
Usually I will get 11.6L/100km (8.5km/L)
It's pretty reasonable for 245 & 275 tyres setup on my car

thats not surprising, sb does the kick down for you in fact. the accelerator signal is not wrong, its been amplified.

I use the sme method to calculate the fuel consumption aswell.
I dont trust the computer at all.

I amm not surprise you use more fuel with the SB.
But i am sure the enjoyment is greater than the fuel cost

do you find a lot of difference between your own measurement vs the computer read out? obviously if u dont reset the count, it will average over time which doesnt really tell you anything but thats is not a problem w the compter

agreed, extra $ is well justified for feel good factor.

Got the green light from my mum

I dont understand why i cant buy a car even with my own freaking money!!

I know i might sounds childish to you guys but i just wanna chill out abit. Gutted!
